Saturday, October 17, 1998th 11 am - 3 pmUrban Nature Writing Workshop Nature isn't something that exists only in rural areas and wilderness. Falcons nest in Manhattan skyscrapers, and grass grows through sidewalk cracks everywhere. Nature poems can come out of cities, too--even downtown Auburn! Writing exercises will be based on examples ranging from ancient times to 20th century poets like Lew Welch and Ed Sanders. Free to teens, $10 for the general public, ($5 for seniors).
